Tipping in Thailand
Rounding up or 5–10% in restaurants is appreciated. Small tips for massages and hotel staff are common.
Compared with the UK
In the UK, 10–12.5% is normal for restaurant table service, and it's often already added as a service charge. Thailand is similar or a little lower. Always check the bill for a service charge before adding a tip.
