How it works
Women's clothing sizes follow different scales: a UK 12 is an EU 40, a US 8 and an Italian 44. Men's jackets in the UK and US are sized by chest in inches, while European sizes are roughly half the chest in centimetres.
Sizing varies between brands and countries, so check the measurements on the retailer's size guide when you can.
